Test Analyst (Contract)
Location: Worcester, Worcestershire, England Country: UK Rate: £280 per day
 

Test Analyst (Mid) - £280/day Inside IR35 - 5-month Contract - Worcester (Hybrid - 3 days onsite) - SCC FLEX CONTRACT

We seek a detail-oriented Mid QA Engineer to join a Project Testing team. In this role, you will support testing activities across a wide range of projects, including UAT on infrastructure projects and software testing for in-house developed software as well as SaaS implementations/customisations.

Your responsibilities as a Test Analyst:

Manual Testing:

  • Write, execute, and maintain test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of various projects.
  • Conduct comprehensive manual tests to verify both functional and non-functional aspects from an end-user perspective.
  • Analyze requirements, develop test cases, and execute them to detect performance issues and anomalies.
  • Report bugs and errors immediately to the development team for prompt debugging and resolution.
  • Ensure consistency and reliability of the software across multiple devices and platforms.

Automation Testing:

  • Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to evaluate software performance under specific conditions, such as load, stress, and spike tests.
  • Automate QA processes to enhance efficiency while upholding high product quality standards.
  • Continuously improve and update the automated testing repository throughout the development cycles.

As the suitable Test Analyst , you will have:

  • Proven experience in manual and automated testing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with QA tools and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective bug reporting and team collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Experience with UAT on infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of SaaS implementations and customisations.
  • Understanding of various testing methodologies and frameworks.
