Desktop Engineer-DV Cleared-370-OUTSIDE IR35 (Contract)

DV Security Cleared 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer/Desktop Support Engineer - Service desk -O365/Azure Intune/Apple Mobile Phone is required by our government, public sector services client based Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, commutable from Northampton, East Midlands, Bedford, Luton and North London

370 per 12 hour shift, you will work 14 out of 28 days. OUTSIDE IR35

Working in an DV Security Cleared environment. You will hold current DV clearance or be eligible to undertake clearance.


Experience Required

365 Desktop (Intune/EPM) Cloud experience

Apple Mobile Phone/Apple Business Manager experience (Iphone Knowledge)

Windows 10 and Windows 11

Sound level of technical WINTEL understanding

Previous Experience of working within a Service Desk environment, Incident and Request Fulfilment process disciplines + understanding of priority classifications and SLAs

Experience working in a secure environment

Managing Modern Desktops - MD 101

Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)

Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator

Associate MD 100


This is an exciting 6 month contract opportunity where the successful applicant will be responsible for delivery of front line IT service delivery.

You will have the experience to troubleshoot and resolve a variety of IT incidents ensuring a quick resolution is achieved and accurate recording of activities is captured. Delivering excellent customer service, you will on occasion support the Major Incident Management process.

Duties will involveResponding to alerts from our IT estate, or targeting first contact resolution of customer incidents and service requests on a rotating 24/7 Shift basisWork as part of a team of Operations Analysts to ensure services are delivered within SLAsMonitor and manage resolver group queue stack, ensuring tickets are continually updated with progress and/or are appropriately escalated (functional escalation) between resolver groupsPerform in-depth technical investigation, diagnosis and resolution of incidents and service requests that could not be resolved by 1st line
