Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer, AVD, PowerShell, Agile, Intune.

A great role has landed with a key customer who is looking for a talented AVD Engineer who can help support, implement, and maintain a high level of service across the business.

Operating in an exciting environment with the opportunity to work across not only AVD but the wider Azure technology stack, you'll be working closely with senior Engineers to identify and deliver opportunities for service improvements. At the same time, I will support my colleagues around the company.

Skills required:

Knowledge of Azure infrastructure like Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, Azure Storage, Security, Network Components.

Knowledge of securing virtualized environments, including threat detection, incident response, and compliance frameworks.

Working experience of AVD, its architecture, deployment options & management tools

A basic understanding of FSlogix for profile & application management

Familiarity with application packaging and delivery techniques for AVD

Proven experience in the use of PowerShell and KQL.

Experience in client management (compliance, configuration, application delivery) using Intune

A working understanding of delivery frameworks such as Agile

A consistent record of solving complex issues in a distributed cloud environment.

Communication and teamwork skills: Collaboration and communication with users, customers, and other IT teams are essential.

This role does come with an on-call required, and 2 days are requested in the office each week.
